Your computer’s desktop is the starting point of your computing experience and affects your
overall productivity. If you currently have an overly cluttered desktop that is causing you
stress, you need to clean it up for the sake of your own sanity.
A file should only stay on your desktop if it’s something you’ll need to access frequently and
generally only on a temporary basis. Otherwise, find a suitable place for it to live.
Share Point
Share Point is designed for content owned by the
team or group that manage the Share Point site as
part of an Office 365 Group. If your file is not personal,
draft or private – it should be on Share Point.
One Drive is designed for more personal documents
and files. If you are the sole owner of a file, not ready
to share broadly
